I’d like to see a Ukraine battalion of US style armored Calvary equipped with Abrams go up against Russian armored units.
Too bad Ukraine wasn’t at the international tank warfare competition or they would have won.
General George S. Patton was right when he said we should've eliminated Russia and that they were an enemy.
I'll say this too (for about the hundredth time here on FR): absent nukes, the 'vaunted' Russian Military is barely better than third-world status (think Iraqi Republican Guard during Desert Storm I) and without those nukes with which they're now threatening us with global thermonuclear war, they'd have crumbled under their own weight by now.
Just sayin' ... Hey, I'm headed out to ASC tomorrow. Wanted to go today but with the 4 days of rain we just went through, it's gonna be really muddy out there...

The term for sending young and even highly competent soldiers into battle is “cannon fodder”.
This meat grinder war is turning into a real test of grit and determination. And the Ukraine under Zelenskyy has more grit and determination than the Russian Federation under Putin.
