Oh, there is a "new" one... It is "A prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series".

It took less than 5 minutes to see the wokeness, of course. And.. 'Captain Christopher Pike' is a weak, snivelling, emotional man.. he relies on his #1, a female (no offense to women, of course.. it just doesn't follow the original) for logical solutions to the problems.. (And.. it used 1/6/2022 as the start of Civil War 2, and World War 2; blamed extreme right wing fanatics, or something like that).

Oh, Spock, Ohura, and Lt. Kirk are there too...

That's really sad. Anson Mount plays Captain Pike. I first watched him in "Hell on Wheels," which was an excellent series. Then they cast him as the Marvel character "Black Bolt" in the TV series "Inhumans." His character had to remain mute because his voice could cause devastation. That program was supposed to be the successor of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," but it failed miserably. It got canceled after its first season, and they had to extend "Agents" to fill the gap. Now he's appearing in this series. The guy is a good actor, but it seems that after "Hell on Wheels," he's been cast in horrible roles.

My youngest son got me into the Marvel programs and movies. I don't know all of the characters that Marvel has created. I grew up in the 50's, so we mostly read Superman and Batman & Robin DC comics...and MAD Magazine.
