I attempted to watch the new Star Trek last night (5:1 ratio of women to men, even on the USS Enterprise, and many are obvious dykes.. they also used 1/6/20 as a “terrorist/extremist” event that started CW2 & WW3).
It is as bad as the rest of the cr@p they are pumping out.
Both of my sons in their 50's are Star Trek fans. The oldest one is more up-to-date on his viewing. He hasn't liked Star Trek: Discovery at all, but watches it anyway, and said season 1 of Star Trek: Picard was bad too. He hasn't watched season 2 yet, or started watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, so will have to wait for his opinion on those. I only liked the original Star Trek, and have never watched any of the other series that came after it.
