I know business owners who were angry that their insurance settled with nuisance suits that had no chance of winning. But this seems extreme.

I am not a lawyer, but I wonder if he could have a suit against them. Because if they make a settlement, they are incentivizing people attacking him. Why wouldn't other people attack him, if they know they can get money from him?
