A Kwik Stop Food Store manager probably got tired of the dude parking his van in THEIR parking lot and called to cops to remove him.
the city of port saint lucie required permits for yard sale signs...
code enforcement would remove all signs that didn’t have the sticker...
political signs were exempt...
it’s government hypocrisy and double standards that breed the privileged class...
not skin color...
The police told him to stop selling w/o a license, but he kept doing it anyway. Willfully breaking the law. Case Dismissed!

So he runs a farm of coconuts and sugar cane? Where did he get those items? I have a friend who worked at a grocery store. People like him would fill up shopping carts and then run out the exits.
Meth heads used to come in large groups when the store was close to closing time with their kids in shopping carts with large bags. Women’s bathing suits. purses, make up products into the dressing rooms and put them in these large handbags. They would sell the items online or on the streets. I asked myself why I bothered to pay for anything.
They’re a plague.
He wasn't tasered for selling goods without a permit.
He was tasered for resisting arrest.
There's a significant difference.
They tried to, after asking him nicely to wrap it up.
He refused. He resisted. He got tazed.

You just have to read to the end before you get to the part where he was non-compliant and resisting arrest.

Some departments encourage their cops to use tazers at the first sign of resistance in order to reduce workman’s comp claims.
And some cops like to use tazers because it’s fun to torture people.
Impound the van and arrest the driver. If he resists, taser him.
Dude should have sold fentanyl and given the cops their 10% like everyone else.
The cop should have realized the man was no danger and should have stopped harassing him about selling things. There are real crimes that go unsolved. Yes, the man wouldn’t comply but do the cops always have to force compliance with violence?
Send him a ticket in the mail but skip the pointed thing with an electric charge.

I got a ticket for “left lane camping” because the cop decided to camp too close to my rear bumper for me to change lanes safely.
I was passing him because he was seriously dawdling about accelerating out of a work zone. The moment I got parallel with him, he accelerated HARD, then stayed there.
As soon as he did that, I knew there was no way I was NOT getting a ticket.
If I changed lanes, he’d have me for cutting him off.
If I accelerated to get far enough ahead for a safe lane change, he would have me for speeding.
If I slowed down to get behind him, I was impeding traffic.
And they wonder why the public is less and less supportive of them. THEY have decided that WE are their enemy. The police’s mottoes seem to have gone from: To Serve and Protect, to: To Harass and Collect
This could get so ugly, yet I struggle to see how we can resolve the disconnect between those we hire to protect us and ourselves..
