As far as I know, Nurburgring still allows the public to pay a fee and drive a 14 mile section of the race course.
Nurburgring can be driven by tourists, as available. Price is 25-30 Euros per lap ($26-32).
I feel .ike I know thay track inside and out. Got pretty good on it with the v-10, but of course that is simulation, real ,if would be totally different, but still fun as I know, the track pretty well from the game- the bumps, corners, apexes, etc. So it wouldn’t be going in blind.
They took kids who raced nothing but simulations, and let them race on real courses, and the kids said that their experiences In the simms prepared them pretty well for the tracks, knowing where al..the corners, apexes, curbs, bumps etc were, and how hard they could push the vehicle gave them a uhuge advantage.
Jimmy broadbent on YouTube is one such person. He got to drive a Maclaren on a track and did really well. He posted his video of it. The kid has speed and control that’s for sure.
I’d like to drive Porsche around nurturing, but wouldn’t push the car super hard- no do-overs in real life. But woild,be super cool.
