Wow! Black magic, no wonder they are doing so well.

Here is a recent very detailed professional site with analysis of various countries and fuel needs in relation to Russian resources. Resources in Ukraine and war effects. A number of charts, graphs and resource maps and pipelines. A gold mine of information.

This next link is an April 2022 analysis that says Russia does not have the goal of getting Ukraine’s gas and oil resources because there is not enough and also Russia is weak on the technology to develop shale oil reserves. This writer fails to mention that Ukraine has access to American oil development experts. I believe this writer is wrong because I think Putin’s main goal was to stop Ukraine from developing fuel independence and competing in the European fuel market. What do you think?

No. That’s silly. There isn’t any worth developing. Like I said earlier - it was drilled (fracked) in the Donbas region in 2015, and is not economically viable. Ukraine, even though it has large gas deposits near the Polish border, just does not have the resources to achieve fuel independence.
