Actually this gives me an idea. Buy old junkers for nothing and harvest the converters. Like all my ideas someone else has already thought about it and putting it into action.

About 6 months ago I had a 2009 Chevy with 155 thousand miles that needed transmission work. I listed it for sale cheap. The first two callers asked right off the bat if it had the original catalytic converter.
