Thanks for your reply. I have left-over script Vitamin D, 50,000 IU that I'd been taking for years, but when I visited my doctor on April 5th, my fasting bloodwork showed my Vitamin D numbers were high, so he told me to stop taking them. I take many other prescription oral meds for various health issues: thyroid, sugar, GERD, hypertension, anti-inflammatory, and cholesterol, that I don't add any supplements unless my Endocrinologist/family doctor specifically tells me to take them.
Over the past two years I've lost about 26 pounds. Lost 2 pounds since I started with this virus. I take Jardiance for my sugar, and that can cause weight loss.
He's got me scheduled for abdominal CAT scans with contrast to make sure there isn't anything else causing the weight loss. I had to reschedule them due to this virus. Also, when they did the bone density and x-rays of my spine on April 5th, the person who read them said there was a possible splenic aneurysm, and they will check for that when I finally go for those CAT scans later this month. I've had four previous abdominal surgeries: 2010 - perforated bowel due to diverticulitis/temporary colostomy; reversal of colostomy three months later; 2012 - repair of incisional hernia with insertion of mesh (I have developed another large abdominal hernia since then), and gall bladder removal in 2015. Saved all my surgeries up for my old age.
Poor you!
I’ll be praying for you.
