I don’t think the deal is finalized, at least not as of this past Friday.

It seems like Musk would say in the case of Mike Lindell let him talk, if he is wrong you can call him out on it with facts.

That being said Elon does not fit in with the other billionaires because he thinks differently. He is a self-admitted Aspie. If you have family member with Asperger’s syndrome you’ll realize they are quite intelligent like Elon and think in a manner that is completely different than neurotypicals.

The “tolerant” people on the left are very intolerant of a man who quite literally cannot help but think in a different way than do they.

It is sickening.

Musk is not a conformist.

He appreciates logical thought that appears to make some sort of good sense to him.

Doesnt make him correct on all things, of course. For example his greatly simplistic view of the covax problems. “An epi-pen will take care of those that have reactions.” Total bs.

But he doesnt bow to mantras and dogmas. That makes him a much closer friend to those who can sit and discuss things on merit rather than emotion and hatred and the hegelian dialectic. The left doesnt want to discuss things, if you arent with them you’re an enemy. Our side will debate. The left wants to control and shut off debate. So from that common ground, we can at least work with him and hes open to other viewpoints necause he likes to learn and maybe he doesnt have the right position on something, or it helps him confirm he does have the right view on something.

Your comment re. the Twitter purchase not being completed yet is on target and bears exploring some.

The purchase Offer submitted and accepted is probably a short form that is then expanded on into a final road map document. Due diligence is the purchaser's key focus at this time. There are off ramps where the the purchaser can exit the agreement. For example, I have read of one off ramp where Musk can simply walk away by paying a $1 billion cancellation fee. On the flip side, I imagine that Twitter would also have a contractual obligation to pay Musk some big $$$ if they were to walk away.

I think it likely that there would additional off ramps related to due diligence findings where Musk could walk away without penalty. I have not heard of any mention of this but it seems to me to be a probability. I think it will be after due diligence is completed before the final sales agreement is negotiated and implemented.

I've heard 6 months as a timeline for this sale to complete. It wouldn't surprise me if this purchase dragged into 2023.
