An uninteresting First Lady makes for a biography in which no one is interested

Jill Biden is not an inherently interesting person. She’s been a teacher for some decades now, wrote an undistinguished thesis to get a meaningless Ed.D., and now functions as her husband’s nursemaid. She also lacks charm. And, of course, she’s White. Why someone thought a biography of her would be interesting is impossible to understand although a biography that took two people to write hit the market this past week—and completely bombed.

Here is Jill’s bio in a nutshell:

She dropped out of junior college, got married, and went to the University of Delaware to be an English major. She and her husband separated and she began dating Biden, then a Senator and widower with two children. Her divorce came through, she graduated with an English degree, and started working as a teacher. She and Joe married but she never adopted his boys. She got a Master of Education. And then she got another Master of Education. She taught English classes. She got her Ed.D., based on a badly written thesis (almost as bad as Michelle Obama’s Bachelor’s thesis), which is bizarre considering her English language background. She wants people to call her “Dr.,” which is the height of narcissism.

And that’s it, except for the fact that she’s clearly Joe’s minder now, telling him when to speak and when to stay silent, and when to walk and where. That’s just in front of the cameras. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors?

So her thesis is drivel? So what? No matter to the other club members how trivial and inane her “scholarly contribution”...

She and hubster Joe ARE in “the club”, and ticket punching and badge collecting are what members do and facilitate for each other...

So punch her ticket and bestow the honors, and let the circle jerk that is America’s self appointed elite roll on...

Most of us aren’t in that club, and so, unlike the members we can’t expect the free lunch coast to coast club members feel entitled to...

I live on The Jersey Shore, If you go barely twenty minutes to the south and south west in NJ from where I live in Ocean County you'd think, from all the horse breeding stables you were in Virginia or the Carolinas.

I go to Avalon, close to Stone Harbor. There’s a bird sanctuary and playground very close by.

Hubby has his PhD in Physics — Optics. My parents knew he was a scientist, but we had been married for two years before they knew he was a doctor.

There are a lot of gold diggers that made good wives. Both parties knew what the relationship was built on and both kept their side of the agreement. I have met a few "gold diggers" and they were pretty happy with the relationship and so were their husbands.

Marrying above social class and money is built into female DNA. Marrying young attractive women is built into male DNA. As long as they both get what they want, it usually works. As someone said, "She married a purse and he married a nurse."
