Former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper admitted tonight that he refused to send troops to the border when caravans were coming in because he didn’t understand what the purpose would be. It’s simple: When news airs a show of force by US troops, illegal immigrants will turn around.
He also freely admitted that he refused orders from the President to attack the drug cartels in Mexico. Those cartels are responsible for most of the Fentanyl that has become the #1 killer of 18-45 year olds. Refusing that order was a betrayal to our country @MarkTEsper.
Did you think Mexico was going to go to war with us over taking out their trash? They should have sent us gifts for doing what they should’ve done long ago. Had you listened to the order, American lives would have been saved as a result of less Fentanyl coming in. @MarkTEsper
You should be embarrassed for not doing your job as SecDef and for failing all the families who lost loved ones ever since then to Fentanyl. I’ve met those families in my district and they would NOT be happy @MarkTEsper. I pray we have a SecDef who puts America First in 2024!
So he’s partially to blame foe fentanyl deaths. And he’s proud of it? These people must be proud about what is happening at the border now.
Mark Esper says he was ‘flabbergasted’ by Stephen Miller’s plan to send 250,000 troops to the US Southern border

Exclusive: Spygate Researchers Said Claim Russians Hacked The DNC Could Have Relied On ‘Spoofed’ Data
The declassification of CrowdStrike President Shawn Henry’s December 2017 testimony before the House Intelligence Committee, that “there was no ‘concrete evidence’ that the emails were stolen electronically,” later raised more “questions about whether Special Counsel Robert Mueller, intelligence officials and Democrats misled the public” about the hack.
In his final report, Mueller concluded “that Russian intelligence ‘appears to have compressed and exfiltrated over 70 gigabytes of data’ and agents ‘appear to have stolen thousands of emails and attachments’ from Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and DNC servers, respectively.” But CrowdStrike remained the only publicly known source to support Mueller’s conclusion. Given the numerous illegal efforts to frame Donald Trump as colluding with Russia exposed by then, conservatives were unwilling to trust either Mueller or CrowdStrike.
