The gene is recessive!, so only one in 900 couples will bear children having this gene defect expression.
Every one of us has some LETHAL (recessive) gene defects - but only if we have children with someone else having that exact same defect would our children be affected.
And the particular susceptibility to vaccines described here is not 100% fatal.

Warning about readers leaping to false conclusions should not be described as "smearing." I did not criticize the article for any lack of factuality. My only criticism of the article was that it could have stated the matter a little more clearly. Some less-educated readers could easily be misled.
