We need to keep in mind that colleges, starting around 20 years ago were telling female students to give permission to the male students when hooking up. “May I touch your cheek?, may I kiss your lips?, may I put my arm around you?” became checklist items and took the fun out of dating.
Men are afraid of being accused of something that prior to the lefts continued failures with social engineering was normal. Today, saying, “your hair looks nice” will get you arrested on sexual assault charges. No wonder men have backed off initiating anything.
Whatever happened, if you asked 100 women shortly after meeting them if they were interested in dinner and the horizontal cha cha afterwards, 90 might slap you, but the other 10 might rock your world...
I guess that approach has gone out the door now.
