My sources tell me that the Russians will leave a Ukrainian rump state for the EU to take care.
Kind of like a homeless encampment that the EU has to pour money into, with no access to the sea to ship their grain, no oil or gas, and no energy transiting to Europe that they can steal or make money off of.
