had a vast network of spies in the US during WW2 and afterward, and thereby stole atomic bombs secrets;

recompensed the extensive aid provided by the free West (for mutual benefit) by developing the atomic bomb henceforth threatening the West with destruction;

rails against the US and nearby nations for having defensive weapons, while invading neighboring countries, and boasts of novel undefeatable weapons, thereby manifesting why NATO and US weaponry is warranted, while NATO nations overall only spend about 3% of GDP.

has fought proxy wars against the free West in almost every decade, as it does now;

censored and punished dissent in almost every decade, as it does now;

persecutes those known to practice faith and disallows the sharing of aside from sanction by the state church puppet;

impoverished its people while at their expense leadership lived with a standard of living it demonized the West for having;

refuses to live in peaceful co-existence with its stable neighbors and actually reform its corruption.

Which means it needs an evangelical revival as seen in the Great Awakenings in the US, yet anti-Christ - as with Western liberals, oppose this.

That there are a plethora of ardent pro-Putin propagandists, recalcitrant Russia defenders on FR reveals the decline of conservativism, and whom I suspect of the libertarian type, who care little about moral issues and Christian faith, and likely attack Israel also, thus will provide more fodder for the Left who hate the latter two. I wonder how the owner feels about this pro-Putin posting.

Meaning you would think that any actual conservative would see such a leader as the real enemy, as also is the Western Left, even though sometimes what they do can be right, despite their intention. And that overall opposing both does not mean actual supporting the agenda of either.
