Why do I not find this reassuring? Because I've seen how rapidly things move from voluntary to mandatory. A guy I know attended a music concert a couple of weeks ago, and to do this he had to show proof of vaccination and proof he didn't have Covid. The only way to show he had purchased a "ticket" was by showing proof on his cell phone - there were no paper tickets. I would have told them to shove it.

I sent an intemperate email to my local natural gas company last week in response to their new policy of comparing my energy usage to that of people in similar homes, NOT to people in luxury homes. I can imagine the kind of cultural events a “woke,” controlling city like Vienna would be putting on. Should be fun for a white CIS heterosexual male to attend in conjunction with the “still voluntary for the moment” training courses in systemic racism, male patriarchy, white supremacy, etc.

You’ll get tokens for those, too. And there might even be cake. Vienna is famous for its cakes.
