Viola Davis called criticism of her portrayal of Michelle Obama in Showtime's The First Lady "incredibly hurtful."
The Oscar winner has been ridiculed for her facial expressions and pursed lips in her performance as the former first lady in the drama, which reframes American leadership through the lens of the formidable female spouses in the White House. In an interview with BBC News, Davis said it is "incredibly hurtful when people say negative things about your work," adding that criticism is an "occupational hazard" in showbiz.

The only place I ever went to on the Blackhorse Pike was one of those huge smorgasbord restaurants with a strolling musician, whose son lived in our same apartment building in Philly! Good times...
I avoid Philly and NJ whenever possible.
Still go to Avalon in the Summer sometimes.
