Of course! The military industrial complex and their Neocon friends in Washington needed a new enemy since the “War on Terror” had pretty much petered out, they managed to milk that one for 20 years though. I think China was probably their first choice, but then when Russia invaded Ukraine they saw their opening and realized if the could bring back the cold war and the “Great Russian Menace” those defense dollars would role in not only to expand our military but to finance the war in Ukraine and weaponize NATO. Which is exactly what’s happening.
Yup. And the problem with all that and is that what happens if they push for a proxy war in the Ukraine and Russia doesn’t want to play proxy war anymore they’ve been down that road before.
