From an on field perspective, I’d say big upgrade.
Mayfield is small and relatively slow.
That’s a tough deal in the NFL.
What I don’t understand is why they were playing Mayfield when he was obviously crippled last year and had a strong backup on the bench who had won a lot of games when the HC was OC at Minnesota..
I’m not a Mayfield fan, but the Browns done him wrong in my opinion. Browns ownership and front office are a nightmare. The dude needed surgery and they let him play anyway. Most of last season you could see that Baker shouldn’t have been out there, it was tough to watch, but as a Bungal fan and Brown “hater” I cheered them on.
