Not quite... Musk’s a liberal as woke as most of them. He just sees an opportunity and he’s taking advantage of it. Twitter was going downhill and picking up speed.
They screwed themselves when they started the banning and censoring of ideas and facts they didn’t like and didn’t agree with. Musk realized the way to gain popularity back was to embrace FOS. It doesn’t make him center right, he’s still on the left, he’s just a lot smarter than most liberals. He sees an opportunity and he’s going to take full advantage of it.

You can be a liberal without being woke. Joseph Lieberman is an old school liberal. I doubt he is that woke. Some of his political issues are at odds with the “progressives” today.
