No

Baldwin aimed a gun he did not check at a person. Pulled the hammer back and let it go

Arec claims the gub just went off by itself, magically apparently. He immediately tried blaming everyone else. He is a scumbag. Had he come out and shown remorse for his actions right away, and had he followed safety protocols to,the ‘t’ beofre hand, people could have at least sympathized somewhat wit him, but still held him accountable, but he chose to arrogantly and selfishly deny any wrongdoing whatsoever- he wouldn’t even admitmto,a smidgen of neg, igence on his behalf.

His denial is disgusting

Baldwin aimed a gun he did not check at a person.

Just a question here. Not trying to defend him or anything. But was Baldwin actually supposed to open the cylinder, dump all the ammo out in his hand, and individually check each round, before reloading?
As it so happens, years ago I was on the set of a major action movie, and yes, you've heard of it, and never saw this happen. The actor was handed the gun by the prop guy, told it was safe, and the director called "Action".
If the gun was a semi-auto, would the actor be expected to drop the mag, rack the round from the chamber, empty the mag, carefully examine each round before reloading the magazine, inserting it into the gun, and racking the slide to chamber a round?
Just wondering.
