Do not think for one second that this is the same kind of posturing we get from Iran and North Korea.

Russia has a massive nuclear arsenal that is capable of hitting major US cities. It does not have the same safeguards that we have to prevent their use.

I do believe there are forces seeking to provoke a limited nuclear exchange. I’m not sure why.

If I had to guess I would say China is hoping to weaken the US and Russia in order to dominate the world militarily and economically. I think what is more likely is that the US will get to showcase more sophisticated weaponry than has been seen before, but not without a cost.

Regardless, I strongly recommend being prepared for the the possibility of surviving a limited nuclear war. This means knowing what to do in the first few seconds, minutes, hours, days. And prepping with at least minimal supplies for survival for months.

“It does not have the same safeguards that we have to prevent their use.”

Lol.

Joe Biden is President.

We would be better off randomly picking someone from a local nursing home and giving them the nuclear authorization codes.

“And right now Russia is telling the world to brace for nukes. We might want to pay attention”

These are the 2 wisest comments on this entire thread. Most of the rest are just a bunch of people in denial. Russia is not just going to sit back and watch themselves get defeated in their own backyard, on territory that used to be theirs. Their doctrine specifically calls for escalation, and we are stupid to ignore these threats. We should, instead of pushing them, be working toward a negotiated settlement. Ukraine isn’t worth all of Western Civilization and hundreds of millions of people.
