Democrats urge Biden to use presidential powers, 'whatever means necessary' to protect voters

WASHINGTON – With federal voting rights legislation stalled in Congress, Democratic lawmakers and civil rights activists are calling on the Biden administration to issue a new executive order aimed at better protecting voters against restrictive state election laws. . . . . .

This is totally what we are up against. The Demo'rats' cannot get what they want passed through by way of weak kneed Republicans in Congress so they go to the choice of Executive Orders - in other words: DICTATORSHIP. What is the provision that mostly raises their objections: voter ID - which blocks mail in ballots to illegal aliens. These laws exist in states such as Georgia and Florida and others.

Another issue that they wish to push through with Executive order is forgiving of student loans. This will add substantial debt to the already explosive national debt. The 'Rats in Congress do not want to take responsibility for a law that overwhelmingly favors them in the upcoming elections so they hope for an executive order.

The obvious remedy to these abuses is to appeal to SCOTUS. For example, student loan debt forgiving involves budget and debt issues and is the Constitutional responsibility of the House of Representatives.

Likewise, voting laws are the Constitutional obligation of the individual states.

This raises the issue of how SCOTUS will deal with these challenges - presuming that the GOP and the states will raise a challenge to these dictatorial mandates. For one thing, they will have to be dealt with on an expedited action; delay obviates the validity of the presidential mandates in November.

This is what we face currently with a ruling class determined to ignore the will of the people. They show no inclination to moderate their extreme destructive political actions in the face of the upcoming elections. Pundits are constantly assuring us that the GOP will sweep in November... well, hopefully. But we cannot ignore the fact that the ruling class is not attempting to make an appeal of moderation to prospective voters. Also, there is little evidence that states that have documented election irregularities in 2020 have made any effort to correct those practices.

Tone deaf! The leftists want to break the Constitution (and otherwise cheat) because the cannot win on the merits. The Constitution calls out that the STATES are to manage elections, not Washington, DC. Republicans are ensuring that the STATES clean up their acts.....which IS the Constitutional fix for all of these shenanigans, malarkey, and monkey shines.
