People living with HIV who are on antiretroviral treatment and have low to moderate heart disease risk scores nevertheless had baseline cardiovascular abnormalities at a rate three times higher than people without cardiovascular disease in the general population, according to data published in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.
While heart disease is traditionally associated with aging, it affects people living with HIV at younger ages.

Who wants to guess that the meds used to treat the virus are causing the heart health risks?
That’s the tip of the iceberg with their sea full of abnormalities.
But they’ll still try to tell you that AIDS patients are still “just as healthy” as normal people.
The article didn’t mention the rate of cardiac abnormalities in HIV+ people not taking antiretrovirals. HIV causes accelerated aging (14 years) and resultant illnesses. For years, they’ve blamed antiretrovirals for the problems of HIV+, but it always turns out to be an HIV effect.
Other viruses mentioned as well, though not HIV.
And the last I knew, detailed health histories still are not being taken by federally approved vaccinators before giving CoupFlu shots.
