No matter how heinous, you could pretty much say what you wanted, aside from some very narrow parameters. People might not like, despise or hate it but it was the right to say it that was the issue.

Since the 90’s, it has now morphed into “acceptable” speech.

We need to get the first way back...and not just to run around shouting the “n” word.

My goal isn’t actually to win converts. As I said to one guy once, “I like to think that as you age and reach your 30’s, you will say one day, “I get what that old guy was saying.”

I’ve been that very young person. I believe others have been too. I come from the Christian concept that some of us may sow seeds, while others see the harvest. But someone has to be a sower.

It is ironic that the free speech movement that began in the 1960 on college campuses has turned into censorship once the hippies of the 60 gained power.

"Free Speech for me, not for thee!"
