Isn’t all of Star Trek commie? Even the old ones.

I remember from DS9 the Ferrengi... the most disgusting, cowardly, gnarly teethed, detestible, lauded race... those were the “capitalists”. Always going on about the golden calf of “profit”.

I loved Star Trek as a kid but recognize it for what it is today.

The original series had a number of episodes that were heavily dystopic. If anything, the show repeatedly debunked the concept of a utopian, socialist existence and instead showed the harsh reality that resulted from seeking it.

TNG was where the leftist agenda crept in - and it has continually worsened with each new installment. It's sad that the best concept to come out of the franchise in decades was a fan film - Axanar - and CBS/Paramount quickly stomped it.
