He is then quizzed.
‘Did you see the rounds in the gun?’
‘No.’
‘Have you seen what they look like?’
‘I’ve watched her load and reload the gun many times.’
‘Have you seen the bullets?’
‘Sometimes the head is a casing, it’s pinched and closed at the top and you put the cosmetic round in when you know you’re going to see... those clay based rounds look exactly like a bullet.
‘So cosmetically you see that in the cylinder. I am very upset right now... forgive me.’
Baldwin was asked if there was anyone who might have intentionally placed a live bullet in the gun.
He referenced the fact there were crew strikes at the time and that many of the crew walked off set the previous day.
‘Those people were on strike against the major studios but not the independent film community. A bunch of people on the set walked off anyway even though they were told not to. That was yesterday.
‘I don’t even know - I have no idea,’ he said.
Why are they releasing this now?
Surely he meant how the GUN killed Halyna. He already said he didn’t do it. Ghost gun? You, me? We’d still be in the Santa Fe hoosegow.
I am adept with fire arms. I shoot often. My shooting partner is equally adept. We shoot each others weapons. When I hand him my weapon or he hands his mine we tell each it is chambered or not. He nor I would ever hand a chambered weapon unless on the firing range and full knowledge it is chambered and on safe. Glocks are a little different. He or I both check that this is correct. This is just basic gun safety.
The bullet went through Souza’s arm first and then struck Hutchins. He recovered with an injury, but Hutchins died in the hospital.
Towards the end of the interview, Baldwin is shown a photograph of what was removed from Souza’s shoulder.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It went through his arm and into Hutchins and then back around into his shoulder?
upper arm includes the shoulder
If it went through, it could not have been removed from him.
“You’re assuming it’s a cold gun.”
Assuming guns are unloaded gets people killed. When Baldwin made the statement above, he earned at minimum New Mexico’s version of a negligent homicide charge and a Guilty verdict. Others might also be guilty but that doesn’t excuse Baldwin.
I thought the producer handed Baldwin the gun and told him cold gun.
Baldwins claims here Reed handed him the gun but she wasnât (supposedly) even there at the time.
This proves there are two sets of criminal justice - one for the woke/elites and one for the rest of us.
That assistant director will end up being the sacrificial lamb who takes the only hit.
I think pretty much everyone agrees the shooting was accidental.
Now think of another killing that everyone agrees was accidental: The female police officer who thought she was tasing a guy resisting arrest, but in fact shot him with her service pistol and killed him.
She’s in prison and Baldwin hasn’t even been charged with anything to my knowledge.
He was, er, too upset to get the names right. Yeah, that’s it.
Does the fact they are releasing this indicate charges are about to be filed?
Jack whole. Donât ever assume a gun is cold. Always check. There was no need to Vick it. He was just being him
That's interesting. All previous stories that I've read said that Hannah gave the gun to the assistant director who then gave it to Baldwin. According to those accounts Hannah wasn't even in proximity to Baldwin due to Covid measures which kept various crew members separated.
This is a weird article in many ways.
All the previous articles on this that I’ve read said that Hutchins was hit first and then Souza.
my bad.
