They’re never aggressive until they are.
Neighbors have a pit bull that is great with little kids. My daughter has one that is great too. A friend takes in pit bull rescues - he says they were previously known as “nanny dogs” as they were so good around kids.
But yeah - I think their “nature” includes attacking.
Heck - any dog can attack. But the pit’s jaws are so much more powerful than most other dogs.
Seems to happen more with multiples, rather than well-socialized single pets. You have to absolutely be a dominant alpha to these as well.
