Vigorous physical activity is an antidote for chronic depression. I know, from watching a long-ago girlfriend.

No, not THAT! But the only way she could be happy for a few hours was a day of ferocious tennis or a 5K run.

We don’t know that she really died of suicide.

Without seeing the autopsy report, we have no idea whether or not authorities are lying.

And I’d really like to see that autopsy report.

“Vigorous physical activity is an antidote for chronic depression”

Chronic physical activity is a manifestation of depression. Chronic physical activity often leads to injury, which requires rest and recovery, which leads to depression.

It might be an uphill battle trying to convince a chronically depressed person that everything in moderation (including intensity of workouts) would be a healthier lifestyle choice. The Chronically depressed seldom listen to good advice.

So what’s the affordable alternative? Drug therapy? Anti depressants upon anti depressants? Apparantly that has only limited success.
