I just realized that the natural world has provided me a sign for the fate of perverto-world, because
It’s the time of year when it becomes obvious that our resident red squirrels are in the family way. Now I know that a lot of people have issues with these critters, but over here everyone gets along, and it’s a joy to see the moms get their little round “Buddha” bellies. It’s a living Beanie Baby factory out here.
Anyway, a few weeks ago I hung out some lengths of jute for nesting materials. One of the nurseries ended up close by, located at the top of a tall, hefty hardwood “stump”, ~ 10’ up. Easy to watch from inside the house as the nest was being built.
Squirrel took advantage of the free jute, but one rope is hanging down from the nest hole, so when the breeze kicks up, there’s a loop of a rope swinging from the top of the tree.
Hope is alive!

I laughed at him cooking his diet. He doesn’t even put the eggs in a bowl so they cook at the same time.
