“Because it prohibits the promotion of these ideas by public university faculty, it is almost certainly unconstitutional,” says Jeremy Young, senior manager of free expression and education at PEN America, an organization that advocates for free expression.Bible classes will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the main auditorium. Gun classes will be every day at the range.

“… “No one should be instructed to feel as if they are not equal or shamed because of their race,” DeSantis said…”
“Because it prohibits the promotion of these ideas by public university faculty, it is almost certainly unconstitutional,” says Jeremy Young, senior manager of free expression and education at PEN America..”
Let THAT sink in. This Jeremy clown thinks it’s unconstitutional to prohibit teaching racist hate.

It is sobering to remember that DeSantis beat Andrew Gillum by less than half a percentage point. Just a few thousand more votes the wrong way, and FL today would be ruled by a real-life Gollum.
The good news is DeSantis is cruising to an easy re-election win. That's what strong conservative leadership will do.
On Election Night this November, at one minute after the polls close in FL, I would enjoy hearing the following proclamation: "The polls have now closed in Florida, and CNN now projects Governor Ron DeSantis has won re-election in the Sunshine State". Of course, the MSM will deprive us of this joy.

The gentleman may very well be correct when it comes to that. Instead the law should have made clear that students and faculty were not to be punished for expressing opposition to the ideology promoted by the Leftist cadre on campus. That the free speech of those who did not kowtow to Wokeism is protected.

Yep! Rodeo sex Gillum almost pulled it off. Think of the rooms in the Governor’s Mansion he and his playmates could have ruined with fecal matter when they played.

Democrat ‘elites’ want S&M classes taught to Florida kindergartners. They say children of of bondage parents feel sad and isolated that other children don’t ‘accept’ their parent’s lifestyles.
