Cyrillic is the alphabet letters and not the spoken language so it is not kosher to call them “Cyrillic speakers”. My wife is a Ukranian Russian speaker and her accent when speaking English is “thick enough to cut with a knife” (as Jack Benny described his Dad’s Yiddish accent).

Little Slovakia is sending Migs, the Czechs are sending and repairing tanks, Brits are sending weapons (I don’t remember the specifics!) as are others, even Turkey is selling them armed drones. Easy for the ex-Warsaw Pact nations to get rid of old inventories, now they can buy western made arms.
