He dumped an airplane on property that does not belong to him. He should be responsible for cleaning it up and if he damaged any property, he should be held liable.

As I understand it he did recover the wreckage when he was warned about it. Also I believe to fly in that area you need an altitude of 9000 ft. so that little aircraft could probably have glided about 14 miles with a feathered prop.

Obviously, the whole thing was fake and he bought that old beat up plane to crash it in the first place. He gets what he deserved.
