Well, Disneyland’s Main Street USA was mainly modeled on the old town area of Fort Collins, Colorado. Nonetheless, there are reasons why Colorado has only one real amusement park (Elitch Gardens in Denver) and that park is only open for half the year. So, good luck to the House of Mouse in the Rocky Mountain state.
I could see some kind of winter-wonderland (’snow valley’) which could be some clone of a German 1970s ski-village. But this would only run four months out of the year. You’d never get your investment money back on this deal.
Also....a fair number of Colorado folks are environmentalists....who won’t agree to some giant Disney village.
