Firstly, Disney was given the power to largely police themselves when they came to Central Florida in the mid 1960s. The interior part of the state was largely undeveloped at the time because it was hot and humid and the state wanted to draw in all those tourists and all their money so they cut Disney a sweetheart deal. Disney has been using that police power to cover up their pedo problem for decades.

Ridiculous. They never should have been given that power to begin with. Governor DeSantis has finally corrected that.

If Polis thinks people want to vacation in Colorado during wintertime for anything other than skiing, he’s completely delusional. Besides, Disney is far from the only theme park in the Orlando area and what are they gonna do - pick the whole thing up and move it elsewhere even though its quite profitable and even though Florida has much lower taxes than Colorado? Get real.

Disney just screwed the pooch {the underage pooch} by messing with DeSantis when he has a large majority in the FL House and Senate.

This is a legal fight that Disney cannot win, not in the legislature, the courts or the court of public opinion.

You only have to ask the average guy on the street if Disney should have the political power to build a nuclear power plant, {without any government supervision} on it property.
