The. billion dollars is related to the property (40 square miles) that Disney owns/controls.
It’s not debt....they should be forced to sell it off.
I live in Osceola country and this makes me very happy.
The debt issued by Disney on the property now becomes debt of the two counties, which are now liable for payment of interest and principal.
So the counties need to get their tax assessors out there and sock Disney with enough property taxes to pay the debt.
