The stand is “principled”? What principle is that? Its OK to discriminate against people for their nationality I guess.
How about for their race? Would it be OK to discriminate against people for their race?
How about their religion?
Do tell us what other forms of discrimination fit within this “principle”.
Rather puts me in mind of when King George V refused to support allowing Nicholas, Alexandra, and their family asylum.
