Daszak’s research in collaboration with the Chinese lab considered by many of being responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic has went through continuous examination. Yet, the Wuhan collaborator Peter Daszak is demanding nearly $1 trillion to fund the ‘pandemic prevention’ efforts.
President of the EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, who collaborated with the Wuhan Institute of Virology using research grants sponsored by Anthony Fauci, has asked that President Joe Biden devote roughly $1 trillion in “pandemic prevention” at taxpayer expense.
Daszak, who was born and schooled in the United Kingdom, is most known for his work at the Wuhan Institute of Virology with Chinese Communist Party associates and the ensuing cover-up of COVID-19’s roots.
Now, the discredited scientist is requesting that the United States taxpayer bear the cost of defending against his work manipulating “killer” pathogens by financing new “protections” of approximately one trillion dollars over the next few years.
The large request was presented in a recent Fortune magazine opinion editorial, and it comes amid continuous examination of Daszak’s research in collaboration with the Chinese lab considered by many of being responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite this, Daszak is going to double down on his demands for dedicating large sums of money from the US Treasury to fund his “pandemic prevention” study.
“The Biden administration clearly needs to invest much more money to prevent and prepare for another pandemic,” Daszak and his three co-authors explain in their April 11th op-ed, “Here’s how much the Biden administration should be investing in infrastructure to prevent another pandemic.”
Daszak suggests a $500 billion initial expenditure, which would be expanded to $829 billion over time with “annual investments to maintain capacity”:
Under reasonable assumptions, our analysis predicts maximum gains arise from an initial investment of $511 billion, followed by a steady increase of up to $829 billion and supported by annual investments to maintain capacity. The returns to these investments would range between $9-$15 in benefits per dollar invested. Altogether, our proposed investments in capacity could generate up to $10.4 trillion in expected avoided damages to society, as well as avoiding immeasurable human suffering.
“The U.S. should invest far more in building capacity (read below) to both prevent pandemics and be able to adapt to them should they occur.” The authors write, “These additional resources would help to prevent the next pandemic by making it possible to detect novel outbreaks early on and use contact tracing to target and rush a response,” echoing Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance’s talking points prior to COVID-19’s emergence.
Daszak’s requests for roughly a trillion dollars from American taxpayers follow his pivotal involvement in stifling enquiries into COVID-19’s possible lab beginnings while working for the World Health Organization (WHO) as an investigator. According to new disclosures from Vanity Fair, he was chosen for the post by the Chinese Communist Party.
