I do have a digital camera somewhere. Please refresh my memory - do they have to be charged or do they work as long as they have a memory card inside? It’s been 20 years or more.
Mine all have a removable battery that periodically needs to be charged (I keep spares), and an appropriate charger. You’ll also need an SD memory card.

My 20 yr. old HP digital uses 4 AA batteries so no charging ever reQuired. Newer Sony has a re-chargable bat that’s under the door by the mem card. I have to pop it out and charge it in its own charger. GL.
