‘The review determined that the student had no intention to harm the patient and followed Medical Center protocols The School and the student have agreed upon her taking an extended leave. During this time the student will not participate in any patient care activities.’

University is attempting to dodge a lawsuit by the patient by rewriting the facts and putting the student on leave.

Yep! I’d sue their freaking asses off. Own them. “Leave” means nothing but “let’s just wait for this to die down then we’ll bring you back in but don’t ADVERTISE the next time you harm someone. Could make us look bad.”
