Lost her cool when a patient made light of her woke beliefs. An extra jab with a needle isn’t exactly a major crime, but what’s she going to do in an operating room? Surgery can go on for hours and the pressure is intense. Also, talk about lack of judgement, but she was ok with damaging her career just to get back at someone disagreeing with her? Wake Forest is a top ranked school, but I think they made a mistake admitting her.
There was a woman in NC who was at the mercy of a former schoolmate who became a nurse at that clinic. Apparently the schoolmate was still angry 30 years later that the patient stole her boyfriend.
The patient suffered breathing issues in the recovery room while the former classmate sat there and ate a biscuit while the patient died AFTER she administered fentanyl without the doctor’s permission.
Things happen.

I think this is the beginning of the slope.
I think the extra needle stab should be treated as extremely serious.
But I also thought there should have been pitchforks and torches over seatbelt laws.
Giving these jack wagons the inch is why we’re in the pickle we’re in.
It is assault.
The technician has already admitted to what amounts to aggravated assault. She was stupid enough to actually brag about it.
Wake Forest should have already expelled her, and she should never be permitted to work in any health care position again.
You have no idea what she did to the needle before jabbimg the person.
