The justice (?) department is no different than their highly political partners in crime as their agenda I feel has changed over the years. When I worked with them starting in the early 80’s, the need was for the public to remain out of the loop for the protection of the people. Then because the product became so greatly important for the survival of the country, it became the major interest and required the most protection and the first of the shrouds of the way things were being handled came out of the blur.
But when information from to be protected people becomes the emphasis and the need to protect the players for their personal gain becomes the priority, then we have stretched beyond the depiction of what we should be concerned about and have now gone outside of our means. And lying about capacity with what little the public actually knows is well within their needs and uses.
