Truth be told if FR applied the same calculus to its members about misgivings over Trump that everyone now applies to politicians who expressed the same we would lose about half of the population.
At the outset of the 2016 primary Ted Cruz was the choice of most here on FR. Many of us liked what Trump said but had misgivings (me included) but by the end of the campaign Trump had won us over (and Cruz got a little desperate).
I will cut others the same slack. Trump has to endorse somebody and while he has whiffed on more than his share of “personnel selections” he has not wavered on his principles and view of government. A pleasant surprise to many (me included).
There are many politicians we usually like who have changed since Trump - look how many republicrats have abandoned neocon ideas. Between the MSM spin and clickbait crap foisted upon us there will always be some angst over endorsements but ultimately its up to the voters in Ohio.
You seem too be forgetting that Jim suspended any and all anti-Trump Freepers during the 2016 campaign. He restored them after the election.
