I too suspect the 13 year old son did it. A rage killing. First thing I noticed and told a friend of mine was that the person dragging the duffel bag was shorter and slim (look at the legs). In other words, a 13 year old, and her son is not tall. He’s using his own duffel bag. He was the only one home. I’ll go out on a limb and I’ll bet two pesos the kid was involved.

Perhaps...but there'd be blood stains no washing can remove from a forensic examination.

Another point - these days w/ Apple, Google, other listening/command devices in common use, LEOs should have or can get access to the audio received during the target timeframe.
