60 stab wounds indicated a great deal of rage, so the question is was it someone that knew her and why. I find it odd the husband was with his 17 year old looking at colleges in Portland, why so far away, many fine schools in the east, that smells a little. How was this woman killed in her own home and the 13 year old hears nothing? All of this is very strange.

I looked at Pepperdine from NY. I don’t think the travel distance is an issue.

there are no big name colleges IN Portland...Univ. of Portland, and Portland State....one of them is Catholic....Reed college and there are a few outside of town.....

but it was Easter weekend....what would be open....

it was probably just a fun trip with a college viewing as an excuse.....spring break for the older son....getaway for the dad....

Wow, this guy must be a freak taking his son to visit colleges on the west coast. /s I did the same thing with my son when he was 17. I guess I should go to parental prison.
