Which puts a serious strain on the heart. Add to that the diets these guys use to maintain that weight. The center for my HS football team died young. I honestly can't recall his exact age.

I had a friend who was a D-1 lineman who died from a heart attack when he was 25.

In fact, coronary heart disease is the 7th leading cause of death for males in that age group (https://freerepublic.com/perl/post?id=4055819%2C3). But why let science and statistics get in the way of a good conspiracy. Throw in the size of a typical lineman and possible use of steroids (or other illegal drugs), death by heart attack is not that unusual at that age.
