Your assertion is absurdly false. I repeated no rant, and made no comment about whether the article was to be believed or dismissed. Moreover, at this juncture -- half the time frame of the NATO-Clinton bombing of Serbia decades ago -- I refrain from validating much of the "news" about the Ukraine-Russia war because history is not complete testimony nor fully validated and collated and I am in no way ready to sign on to anyone's version of things, especially in a "kinetic action" (the Obama BS version of war is used with intent) which is ongoing.
My Post 21 was about the Overton window and how it is often cramped down so that some "rule" about what is allowed to be said is enforced, usually by the ostensible "rule maker."
Looking back at the thread, you posted many heated comments to many, mine among them. Have at it with whoever you will, but your characterization of my comment was wholly wrong. It does however prove my point, that some wish to cramp down the "window" to "choose A or B." As you just did. And thereby validated my single point.
"In the video above he rants for an hour, persuasively making the following points:"
There is no context other than that rant, or the statements made about it to make any comments at all, and your point about the supposed Overton window in this situation seems pointless. Who is the supposed "rule maker"? Mr. Robinson? Some random poster?
What is interesting is how propaganda, like that of Mr. Ritter, gets repeated, amplified, and supposedly adopted as factually true. I would expect Freepers to argue the varying perspectives on the actual issues like how much aid, if any should the USA provide to Ukraine, not just post propaganda and then try to claim it is true.
It would be one thing is someone posted some report that purported to be factual, and that was debated. But people are posting material that has no more factual basis than an opinion that bigfoot likes to listen to Elvis Presley singing in the spaceship.
