Loved Terry Kath’s playing.
And this is my favorite Chicago song.

They still open their shows with Questions 67 & 68. Its just not the same without Kath and Cetera though.

Too bad Terry Kath did not treat all guns as if they were loaded. It was a real loss.

Never liked anything about this band. Lead vocals are awful and songs suck. Their goal was to “start a revolution.’ Looks like they failed.

Good grief...you’re certainly a misguided and foolish idiot with a heart filled with anger.
Kinda like a leftist...

I think he was drunk and probably high, to boot.
Definitely not a good mix. He was apparently convinced it was unloaded. Oops. 😯😞

I agree. Saw these guys last year. Met a few of them, too. Including drummer. New guitarist though.

Some of the best music ever was early Chicago.

The pre-David Foster Chicago was far better. Kath and Lamm liked the Rock stuff so there was a good balance in the band.
The eighties, meh. Although there were a few good songs from that period.

Fun fact: “I’m a Man” was written by a 14 year old Steve Winwood and was first recorded by his band The Spencer Davis Group...

One of the greatest musical acts of the Rock era. Terry Kath was a guitar monster and the horn section is brilliant. Drummer Danny Seraphine is simply the best.
I also love the Chicago cover group, Leonid and Friends:

Yes! And I just found that album in an old-record bin at an antique store. It is AWESOME!

I remember when the Spencer Davis Group came out with ‘I’m a Man’ but I’ve always liked Chicago’s version better.
