Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD is also known as Mad Cow Disease if I recall correctly.
My best friends hubby had Crutchfeld Jacobs. Yes, it resembles mad cow. Horrible disease. I watched a vital 50 year old man become infantile…..and uncontrollable until she had to put him in an Alzheimer’s home. The home couldn’t keep track of him since it was set up for 80 year olds. He’d just hop the short brick wall and take off.
